“Visitors to our Eastern Sierra bookstores are curious about the history of this region and want to know how they can get more information on local culture and traditions. We decided to sponsor a conference featuring noted scholars, historians, local personalities, and authors to educate the community, and to remind everyone about the rich history of this area.” Bob Gardner, Mono County Supervisor
